# Troubleshooting: Screen Not Turning On

## If the screen on your machine is not turning on, follow these troubleshooting steps to identify and resolve the issue:

### **Step 1: Verify Power Supply**

- Ensure that your machine is **receiving power**.
  
    - Check that the power button is turned on.
    - Ensure that the **emergency stop button** is disengaged (pushed out).
    - Confirm the machine is plugged into a working outlet.

### **Step 2: Inspect the Cables**

- Check for **damage** to the cables running from the **touch screen** to the machine.
  
    - Look for frayed or broken wires.
    - If the cable appears damaged, **replace the cable** with a new one.

### **Step 3: Metal Shavings Inside the Screen**

- Sometimes, **metal shavings** can get inside the touch screen, causing issues.
  
    1. **Remove the back panel** of the touch screen to expose the **electronic board**.
    2. Use a **vacuum** to carefully remove any **metal shavings** inside the touch screen.

### **Step 4: Still Not Working?**

- If the screen still isn’t turning on after completing these steps, the issue might be more complex and require professional assistance.
