Replacing the Jaw

To replace a jaw, follow these steps:

  2. Unscrew the lock knob (C) and remove the jaw.
  3. Insert the new jaw through the central hole (A) of the locking rod (B).
  4. Lock the jaw in position using the jaw locking knob (C).
  5. Lower the protective screen.

Adjusting the Jaw Height

The jaw holder carriage must be adjusted based on the diameter of the key:

  1. Ensure knob (C) is not locked.
  2. Turn the millimeter ring nut (G) to adjust the height.
  3. Lock the ring nut in place using the knob (P) once the correct position is found.
  4. Secure the adjustment by turning the knob (C).

Adjusting the Milling Cutter-Tracer Assembly

Important: Unplug the power supply before adjusting the milling cutter-tracer assembly.

Procedure:

  1. Insert the new milling cutter (A), but do not lock it yet.
  2. Place two blank keys (B1-B2) in their seats and align them against the "Key Reference."
  3. Lock the keys using the setscrews (F1-F2) with a 2.5mm hex key.
  4. Ensure key (B1) is properly placed on the tracer (C) and that the cutter lightly touches key (B2) (Ref. G).
  5. Lock the cutter in place using the setscrew (D).

Replacing the Tracer:

  • Loosen setscrew (E) and unscrew the tracer from its threaded seat.
  • Screw in the new tracer completely and secure it by tightening setscrew (E).
