Accessing the Calibration Menu
Calibration ensures precise alignment of the cutter, jaws, and tracer point for accurate key duplication.
How to Access the Calibration Menu:
- Go to the SETUP MENU from the Main Menu.
- Select the CALIBRATIONS MENU.
- Choose the appropriate calibration function:
- Cutter Setup – Adjusts the cutter position along the X and Y axes.
- Jaw Setup – Installs and calibrates the jaw for different key types.
- Touch Screen Setup – Adjusts touchscreen settings.
- Tracer Point Reset – Resets tracer point and jaws for accuracy.
Cutter Setup Calibration
Important: Changes must be saved before exiting, or they will be lost.
Steps to Calibrate the Cutter Position:
- Go to the CALIBRATIONS MENU and select Cutter Setup.
- Adjust the X-Y axis position using the on-screen buttons.
- The display shows the modifications in real time.
- Press "1" to save changes once the cutter is correctly aligned.
- If needed, reset to the previous setting by pressing "2".
Jaw Setup Calibration
Important: The correct jaw must be selected and calibrated for precise key cutting.
Steps to Calibrate the Jaw Setup:
- Go to the CALIBRATIONS MENU and select Jaw Setup.
- Install the required jaw and select the corresponding jaw code from the JAW SETUP MENU.
- Insert the calibration template when prompted.
- Press "3" to start the self-calibration process.
- Adjust the X-Y axis position using the on-screen buttons if necessary.
- Press "1" to save changes, or "2" to reset to previous settings.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete jaw calibration.
